The TOEFL exam speaking test requires American accent. In IELTS British accent is more acceptable. However, the accent is not a criterion or mandatory. The TOEFL speaking examination is not conducted on the same day. It can be one day before or one week before and one week after the exam. TOEFL examination requires analytical thinking to answer the multiple choice questions accurately.
